- Check that the meeting appears on the display in Asquith. Wave your hand over the display to wake it up. You should see your meeting on the right hand side on the day of the meeting.
- When the time comes, press the ‘Join’ button to join the meeting. If you have adjusted thee meeting settings when you set it up, you do not need to join on your computer as well. Display screen will change to show the meeting has started. If, however, there is a need to join on your computer, make sure your computer’s microphone and sound are off to stop any feedback. Make sure there are no fans or other sound generating objects near the set up as they will make it impossible to hear anything for people joining remotely.
- There are three types of remote in the room – camera (red), sound(green) and screens (blue).
- Camera – use the round button to move the camera so it is pointing the right way. Use the zoom button to zoom in and out depending on how many people are in the meeting.
- Sound – mute or unmute the room (shouldn’t be used unless people in person want to have a private conversation that people joining online shouldn’t hear). Volume up and down buttons to increase the volume/ decrease the volume.
- Each screen has its own remote. If the screen doesn’t turn on automatically, use the power button to turn it on. If the meeting is still not showing, use the home button (yellow) to open the settings then navigate to the sources and select the PC.
